We’ve started buying in bulk from Amazon.com. Recently, Amazon.com started selling groceries and cleaning supplies in Sam’s Club sized offerings through there site. Since we are huge Amazon fans, we started comparing prices on what we were buying locally against the prices that Amazon was charging. We soon realized that we were paying massively more per unit (price per roll of toilet paper, price per ounce, etc.) than what Amazon was charging. On our first trip through the virtual Amazon store, we spend $10 more than we would at Target, but ended up with 3 month supplies instead of 1 month.
I’m not sure of the Sam’s Club, BJ’s or Costco pricing, when compared to Amazon, but we don’t have a membership to any of those stores. I do know that buying in bulk from Amazon is saving us a lot of money thoug
